- Admission stickers are required while at the museum.
- Help preserve our exhibits by not eating, drinking, or smoking in any museum building.
- Photography and video recording of the exibits is prohibited without written permission from the Museum Office.
- Parking is free and available on Edison Drive and Front Street on a first come, first served basis.

The Museum is always closed on Mondays, Easter Sunday, Fourth of July, Labor Day Weekend and the month of January. Group tours are available at other times by appointment.

- The Gift Shop offers distinctive merchandise, gifts and unique books that represent local history as well as Museum collections. Browse through the children's section for educational toys that are always a hit!
Enjoy coffee or teas while admiring the outdoor flower and scuplture gardens.
When weather permits, enjoy a picnic on the grounds surrounded by all the buildings of the Milan Historical Museum. Bring your own provisions or choose a meal from one of the restaurants in Milan.
