| 1st Annual Milan Historical Museum Quilt Show |
The 2007 1st Annual Milan Historical Museum Quilt Show was held on July 8, 2007. The Show offered an assortment of colors, patterns and designs which satisfied all quilt enthusiasts. All quilts were displayed on Museum grounds.
Special events included the presence of Amy Korn, an American Quilter’s Society (AQS) Certified Appraiser of Quilted Textiles, one of fewer than 75 certified appraisers in the United States and Canada. She is a member of the Professional Association of Appraisers – Quilted Textiles (PAAQT), the American Quilter’s Society (AQS), the American Quilt Study Group (AQSG), the National Quilting Association (NQA) and the Columbus Metropolitan Quilters. Amy has been a quilter and quilt researcher for over 20 years and has taken numerous classes in dating fabric, quilt history, quilt construction and appraising and provided advice on preservation and care of quilts, the Milan Quilt Guild sold tickets for their quilt raffle, and the Edison Sewers quilt raffle.

The Viewers’ Choice quilt was created by Linda Muthig, Milan and is currently on display in the Museum’s Quilted Treasures exhibit.
